God I love this tape!!!!!  I can't recommend it enough,
even though both Dinner and Slave cut to close side A and
B respectively (I think Paul's copy has these cuts..).

Opening is standard compared to today's versions (well,
except no lengthy pre-Nirvana segment, of course),
although Trey really does jam well in the pre-charge.  A
very exciting pre-charge.  Not to mention that, in Mike's
little solo-section, he nearly plays a bass lick straight
outta 'St. Stephen' (as many of you know, Mike is a Dead
fan.. and was a big one back then).  Charge is
goooood..... screaming...

"Boy" at 5:28.  Jam kinda eases back in here.. not nearly
as quick as many other versions.  Trey really
accentuates WUDMTF, adding an italian accent (sortof), as
he did in numerous older versions in particular (he does
this off and on, now).

At around 8 minutes, Trey drops out, and Page and Mike jam
(Fish keeps a groove).  Trey comes back after 15-20
seconds or so, but is keeping low.  Page is very mellowly
jamming in here... Fish lays down a Reba-like jam segment
groove around 9:30.  Jam is very laid-back.  Still
primarily Page and Mike throughout.. very akin to the
incorrectly labeled ??/??/86? Penn State version.  So akin
that I'd put it within a few months of this version.  Trey is
lightly chording and noodling in the background throughout
this jam.  At around 11:23 or so he comes in noodling more
intensely, and begins to progressively lead...  this mix
still has Mike and Page way up.  Especially Mike.

Trey cuts loose at 12:10... doesn't really wail at all in
here at first, though.  Very straightforward, textbook,
careful noodling in here.. nothing outrageous or flashy at
all.  At 14:05, he starts to jam a little more fiercely,
but he doesn't rage.  He seems a bit reserved.. all of
them, do, frankly... hmmmmm.... suspicious.  Of course,
this is the BAKED IN TELLURIDE show...

At 15:05, Page sustains out and Mike gets funky.  At 15:15
it is all Mike and Fish... well, Trey comes in with an
occasional chord in the background.  Page moves to the
piano.  At 16 minutes, everyone is jamming.. Trey and Mike
let out a few WUDMTF lines, and there's some "Maybe Baby
Baby".. some vocal craziness -- accompanied.  ACH TUNG.
OW!! OW!! BABY BABY BAAAA-BYYYY.. DON'T CHA TRY ME DONT
CHA TRY ME...TRY ME TRY ME DONTCHA DONTCHA DONTCHA..
WUDMTF.. then the jam kicks in again (everyone is
playing), and then, at 17:39, Cities starts right out of
this YEM jam.  I LOVE THIS TRANSITION!!!

FIND YOUR CITY, FIND YOURSELF A CITY TO LIVE IN

DAMN I love this tune.. ;) especially with Dave's Energy
Guide in the middle of it, as here...  I can't recommend
this tape highly enough.  It is my favorite '88 tape for
sure. (C rating for the YEM, though)
